After listening to the majority of the Beatles' discography, I'm currently listening to Getting Better on the Sgt Pepper album, I was a little disheartened that I was not alive during the Beatles hay day. Firstly, I would have loved to have seen them live together, and witnessed how magnificent George Harrison was on guitar, and John Lennon seemed, from various video footage i have witnessed, to be the epitomy of scouse humour. Watching/listening to various interviews i have been on the floor laughing when John opens his mouth. I recently invested in Beatles rockband, which in fairness has started my Beatles obsession, and I love the music. I have to say I prefer the music prior to the end of touring, but there are songs like Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds and I Am the Walrus which I love. I think everyone should go through a Beatles period in their lives.
